Benefits And Value Of ACHMM
Membership
Becoming a member of a local ACHMM Chapter
provides the opportunity for individuals to network
among their peers and increase their effectiveness as professional
hazardous materials managers. Our local chapter is part of
the National ACHMM. The Academy of Certified Hazardous
Materials Managers, Inc. is made up of 66 Chapters and over 6,000
members who are professionals working in a variety of fields
dealing with hazardous materials and environmental health and safety
issues. The Academy provides technical
information and assistance to its members and promotes the
environmental, health and safety profession, offers professional
development and networking opportunities, and provides value
to its membership.
Are you a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager(CHMM) and not yet an

Not a CHMM? You can still join our
Chapter if you work in the field of hazardous materials management or as an EHS professional. We also
welcome student members who are enrolled as full-time students at an accredited college, university or other institution of higher
