2009 Chapter Goals
Short-Term Goals
- Host the National Overview Course
- Complete High School Portion of
CHMMunity project
- Teach or Speak at Middle/High Schools
on Profession
- Offer/Host a HAZWOPER Refresher or a
HAZMAT Course
- Solicit more Corporate Sponsors and maintain
those we have.
- Host the ACHMM Booth at a local
conference such as the Safety
School
- Host a joint meeting with the local
ASSE Chapter or another ACHMM Chapter
Long-Term Goals
- Host the ACHMM National Conference
- Host the Annual Leadership Conference
- Sponsor a Scholarship or a student at
a local college
- Solicit enough annual sponsorships
that our dues are waived
- Have a Chapter Fun Day…Golf outing,
Family picnic, etc.
- Buy meal at Chapter Awards Banquet
- Speak/Teach at
Middle/High Schools on our Profession
