1/20/2004	Meeting was held at Duke Power's McGuire Nuclear Station Facility.  Dinner was served at 6 pm,  followed by an excellent presentation by James Gartland. Topic - Asbestos litigation and the current legislative efforts to address the problem. Speaker - James Gartland, CIH, CSP, CHMM James serves as the EHS Integration Manager, Health and Safety for Duke Energy Thanks for the excellent and very informative presentation James!
4/6/2004	Meeting was held at McGuire Nuclear Station, in the McGuire Office Complex Auditorium. Meeting starts at 7:00 PM with dinner beginning at 6:00 PM.  Topic - USTs and enforcement in NC. Speaker - Mr. Robert Krebs from NCDENR Mooresville Regional Office. Mr. Krebs is head of the Corrective Action Branch for underground storage tanks for the Mooresville Region.
5/4/2004	A Chapter meeting was held on May 4, 2004 at Atochem chemical manufacturing facility.  A tour of the facility was followed by a short chapter meeting.  Thanks to Annie Richardson for hosting the tour and chapter meeting.
8/17/2004	A Chapter meeting was held August 17, 2004 at 6PM at the McGuire Nuclear Station.  Speaker - Our speaker was Mr. Duane Creel from SCDEHC's Stormwater Section.    Meeting - A short business meeting followed Mr. Creel's presentation.  Nominations were taken for chapter Officers and Board Members for 2005. We would like to thank Duke Energy for allowing us to hold our meeting at their facility and also Mr. Creel for an excellent and informative presentation.
11/9/2004	A Chapter meeting was held November 9, 2004 at 6PM at the McGuire Nuclear Station.  Speaker - Our speaker was James Gartland, CIH, CSP, CHMM.  James serves as the EHS Integration Manager, Health and Safety for Duke Energy.  James gave an excellent presentation on Chemcial Security Issues. Meeting - The presentation was followed by a demo of this new web page by Jim Reece.  A short business meeting followed the presentations by James and Jim.  Congratulations to our new chapter Officers and Board Members for 2005.  We would like to thank Duke Energy for allowing us to hold our meeting at their facility and also James Gartland for another excellent and informative presentation.
