March 1, 2005
Can you believe it's March Madness again! Time is flying by. I
hope everyone is doing well and staying warm.
Have you taken the winter poll? If not,
log in and let your vote be counted. While you are there, why not start a
conversation on the board? It can be a great way to network once you get
comfortable with it. Topic areas cover the range of EHS and there is a
Potpourri section for anything else.

manufacturing Engine Brite Engine Degreaser in aerosol form. Over
the years, the facility expanded to include 9 production lines. Key products
lines include Engine Brite, Liquid Wrench,
Puncture Seal and Gunk Green. They also make general purpose cleaners, wax
bowl rings, extruded hose, plumbing and hardware pieces. The hazardous

-
Membership committee / project update -
Annie Richardson, Christina Field, Giorgina Franklin and Mike Phillips have
been working to pull together a list of companies for us to send a letter of
invitation to. This is a way to introduce our chapter to companies in
our area who manage hazardous materials or have an interest in our profession.
The goal is to send a minimum of 100 letters. I think we will exceed
that with no problem. I plan to have a final draft list at the meeting.
Web site national award submittal update -
I will provide you with a copy of our proposed submittal for the Web Site of
the Year award at the National ACHMM Conference in September.
