December 1, 2005
It's hard to believe that Thanksgiving has past and we are quickly moving
towards Christmas. Where has time gone? This is my last newsletter
as chapter president. I would like to take a movement to thank everyone
who attended and supported the chapter this year. If it were not for you,
we would have no reason to exist. I also appreciate the knowledge and
support from John Williamson (Immediate Past President) and Annie Richardson
(Vice-President), along with all board members for supporting my vision this
year. Thanks to all of you, I believe our chapter is on the road to
increasing membership and becoming a useful resource to the EHS professionals in
our area. I look forward to continued chapter growth in 2006. Until
then, I wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

11/15/2005 Chapter Meeting
We had 7 chapter members participate in the DOT Workshop and 13 at the chapter
meeting that followed. We announced the 2006 election results and a
number of people were recognized for their support during 2005. Meeting
minutes are located here
and recognition details and photos can be
found here.
The meeting attendance database has been updated. If anyone is going
through recertification, you can print your
attendance letter here. Just as a reminder, per the ACHMM guidelines,
you must attend more than half of the chapter meetings to earn recertification
credit for the year. Since we have 5 chapter meetings, that means you must
attend 3 or more chapter meetings.
Next Chapter Meeting
The Board of Directors will be meeting in early 2006 to approve a meeting
calendar. If you are on our newsletter distribution list, you will
receive a meeting notice at least 2 weeks in advance. The meeting
calendar for 2006 will be presented at the first chapter meeting. As
always, details of our next chapter meeting
will be posted on our web site as soon as possible.
