Welcome to another newsletter of the Queen City ACHMM Chapter. If you
missed the February 20, 2007 Chapter Meeting, you missed a good one. Our
presenter, Mr. Fred Freiberger presented a hands on Emergency Response
that got the entire group involved. This was an actual ER that he
responded to several years ago. To find out the details, visit the

Great News! We have had our FIRST Corporate Sponsor officially sign on.
Allied Waste Services, a solid waste transporter and disposer, has made
a contribution to the Chapter. In return, we have put their logo on our
website and are providing them with a dedicated page on the website.
Speaking of our website, have you noticed we have started adding
training opportunities? Go to the website and click on the training link
to see what upcoming local training opportunities are available. If you
know of any training opportunities that are not already listed on the
website, please let a board member or Jim Reece know so we can add them.
This is a reminder that it is time to pay your annual dues of $25.
Please mail them to our new Post Office Box instead of bringing them to
our next meeting. Since we will be having a tour, we won’t be able to
collect dues and distribute receipts. So, please mail your dues to the
address listed below and we will either mail you a receipt or give you
one at the meeting.

Our next meeting will be hosted by our new Corporate Sponsor, Allied
Waste Services. Allied Waste Services will host us at their Concord, NC
Facility. Lunch will be provided by Allied Waste. A tour of their
landfill will take place after lunch.
